When do we decide to seek help? Is it at our lowest point, after exhausting all options, or when encouraged by others? Now that you are here, it is clear you desire change, contemplating the question of how your life can be. This questioning reflects what David Epston once wrote, “Every time we ask a question, we’re generating a possible version of a life." This curiosity fosters hope, and that is meaningful.
About
I work with individuals at the crossroads of their life. Whether it is addressing the weight of grief and trauma to the overwhelming feeling of anxiety and depression, I draw from Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems to explore the problems in one's story and work with the Parts of our Self that feel too much, or too little. My experience in working with identity development, particularly with men, ranges from feeling lost and adrift to finding a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. With couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman to address communication issues and feelings of disconnection to repair relationships that have felt lost and burdened.
I am passionate about this work and am open to all communities. My goal is to empower you to live the story you desire for yourself. Your story is your own, and I do not seek to rewrite it from my perspective. What I value is what you want your story to be, taking into account all that you carry: experience, history, values, and beliefs to say the least. You are not alone in figuring out what it is you need for yourself, as I seek to be a guide, collaborating with you towards healing and growth.
I am a licensed professional counselor working in New Jersey. I graduated from Seton Hall University with a Master's of Education in Professional Counseling in 2022. I have worked with people navigating many challenges in their lives and have helped couples explore and address issues in their relationship. Just as I have served them, I aim to work with you now on what you need from therapy.
